What we do

Our Programs

It’s our mission to inspire and help people to transform their lives and communities various programs that has tried, tested, and proved to be effective in bring lasting transformation. Below are some of our programs.

Children and Students Full Sponsorship

We offer sponsorship opportunities to children, needy, bright, and promising students; in University, College, Secondary and Primary School, and Early Childhood Development Education (ECDE).

Teenage and Young Single Mother's

We work in communities affected by early and unplanned pregnancies among teenagers and young unmarried girls, resulting in many cases of poverty, hopelessness, and mental illnesses. We give psycho-social support.

Sortedlife International School

Thousands of families in the communities we work in go hungry more times than they eat. The climatic conditions, illiteracy, and lack of proper infrastructure are some of the factors contributing to food insecurity. As part of rapid response, we mobilize and distribute relief food to the most needy.

Child Protection and Safeguarding

We protect children against cruelty and all types of harm. Many children in poor settlements are at risk of being abused by even their closest family members. We protect against physical and sexual abuse, neglect, child labor and trafficking, among other forms of abuse. We offer psycho social and safe spaces for victims.

Families and Community Empowerment

We Support families and communities with information that enlighten them on various aspects of healthy co-existence; through Community Barazas (Mkao), and other activities.

Nutrition, Health and

Poverty poses health complications such as malnutrition to poor communities, who can not afford proper and balanced diet. We provide awareness and help communities improve their health standards by eating healthy.

Alcohol, Drugs and Substance Abuse Prevention

Due to massive poverty and illiteracy, many people are involved in cheap, lethal and illegal alcohol and hard drugs; with many addicted. We carry out advocacy and sensitization campaigns against illegal production, sale and consumption of destructive substances.

Human Right Protection

Domestic violence, land grabbing, human trafficking, extra judicial killings, racism, gender discrimination, etc, are all forms of human rights violation that people, especially the poor go through on a daily basis. Our work as human rights defenders is to protect them from being violated.

Children and Youth Mentorship

We create safe spaces for children and youth to learn life skills that develop their talents, abilities, and character; as well as how to express themselves and solve problems effectively and creatively.

Economic Empowerment

To improve the quality of communities life, we work together to identify viable economic initiatives that we can do together with members. Among such are poultry and livestock farming. These activities are done in small groups we call Bomas.

Feeding and Relief Food Distribution

Thousands of families in the communities we work in go hungry more times than they eat. The climatic conditions, illiteracy, and lack of proper infrastructure are some of the factors contributing to food insecurity. As part of rapid response, we mobilize and distribute relief food to the most needy.

Sexual Reproductive Health and HIV/AIDS

We help people to understand their sexual reproductive health, and to live healthy from HIV/AIDS. We carry out advocacy, lobbying and sensitization campaigns to enlighten people. We also offer care and support for the HIV/AIDS infected and affected people.
